This Privacy Policy explains how Nexlite Digital Solutions Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our apps:

Together, these are referred to below as "our apps." By using any of our apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

Depending on which app you use, we may collect:

Account information — name, phone number, email address, and business or organisation name used to register or log in.
Business data you enter — stock records, sales, customer credit, invoices, payroll, student or learner records, farm or fleet records, savings group contributions, and similar records you create while using an app.
Payment information — details needed to process mobile money payments (Airtel, MTN, Zamtel), such as transaction references. We do not store your mobile money PIN.
Device and usage information — basic technical information such as device type and app version, used to keep the apps working reliably.

2. How we use your information

To provide and maintain the features of the app you're using
To process subscription payments and billing
To sync your data across your own devices
To provide customer support when you contact us
To keep the apps secure and prevent misuse

We do not sell your personal information or your business data to third parties.

3. Where your data is stored

Our apps use Google Firebase for cloud storage and sync. Your data is stored on Firebase's infrastructure and protected by access rules that restrict it to your account and, where applicable, the staff or members you've given access to (for example, staff accounts in My Depot Master, or treasurer/member roles in Chilimba Master).

Our apps are also built to work offline — some data may be temporarily stored on your device and will sync to the cloud once you're back online.

4. Sharing of information

We only share information with:

Mobile money providers (Airtel, MTN, Zamtel), solely to process payments you initiate
Google Firebase, as our cloud storage and sync provider
Other users you explicitly grant access to within an app (for example, a staff member, treasurer, or co-owner you add)

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of the data associated with your account.
You can request that we delete your account and associated data, subject to any records we're required to retain for accounting or legal reasons.
You can stop using an app at any time; you're only billed for active paid subscriptions.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the app's features (such as historical stock, sales, or contribution records). If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including Firebase's authentication and access-rule system, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login details private.

8. Children's privacy

School Pro Ultimate is designed for use by teachers, tutors, and parents supporting learners, not for direct unsupervised use by young children. Account registration is intended for adults (teachers/parents), who may enter learner information on the learner's behalf.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
